Arrival in Sydney
International conventioneers coming to Sydney have the choice of bus, rail, taxi or rental-car transport to the city area direct from both the International and domestic arrivals terminals.
During the pre-convention period, Volunteer greeters will be on hand to welcome you and to assist with your ground transport enquiries at the airport.
Getting around
Many of the convention hotels are within walking distance of the convention venues. You can also get around the convention precinct at Darling Harbour by monorail, lightrail, bus, ferry, taxi and water-taxi. Underground car parking is available at Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour. Delegates are encouraged to use public transport to get around.
During the convention, shuttle-bus services will run between official convention hotels and the convention venue.
Public transport in Sydney
The best way to travel while you're in Sydney is by public transport.
