In April 2011, Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority became a division of the NSW Department of Planning and Infrastructure.
The Hon. Brad Hazzard, MP, is the NSW Minister for Planning and Infrastruture.
The Foreshore Authority general manager reports to the Director-General, NSW Department of Planning and Infrastructure, Sam Haddad.
