Here, at the meeting point of an ancient rainforest and the Earth's largest living coral structure, guests will slow to a unique rhythm found only in Tropical North Queensland. Based in the exclusive village of Palm Cove, highlights include swimming and snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef and discovering the beauty of the World Heritage listed Daintree rainforest.

Called the Heart of the Nation, the 'Red Centre' is arid, dramatic, vast, a land of extremes and home of Uluru (Ayers Rock) Australia's spectacular monolith. Participants will also discover other geological wonders such as Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), Kings Canyon and more. Walk around the base of this huge monolith, view a magnificent sunrise and discover its significance to the Aboriginal people.

The name Fiji is synonymous with paradise. This beautiful South Pacific group consists of some 300 islands and atolls dotted across 200,000 square miles of sea. The main island is Viti Levu, with the international airport in the township of Nadi. Fiji is the 'hub' of the South Pacific, a melting pot of both Polynesian and Melanesian races. The Fijians are regarded as "one of the friendliest people on earth" and throughout the program guests will be continually greeted with "Bula", meaning "Hello" in Fijian.

Pre and Post Tour Terms and Conditions
These tours, designed by arinex Destination Management (license No. 2TA001144), are for registered attendees and accompanying persons of the District Governor-Elect (DGE) Seminar and the 93rd International Convention.

Reservations should reach arinex Destination Management no later than 10 May 2010 and full payment is required at that time. No space on tours will be reserved without payment.
Bookings will be acknowledged and participants advised of final details closer to the 93rd International Convention.

The DGE Seminar begins in Sydney on 25 June 2010 - all DGEs must arrive in Sydney by 24 June 2010. The International Conference does not commence in Sydney until 28 June, concluding on 2 July. Please ensure that you book the correct dates for pre and post tours, to match your attendance at these events.

Tour Inclusions

  • Deluxe accommodation (where possible)
  • Sightseeing as per the itineraries
  • Breakfast daily and other meals as specified (Breakfast = B, Lunch = L, Dinner = D)

Maximum Numbers
The number of participants on ALL tours is limited and places will be allocated strictly in order of receipt of payment.

Minimum Numbers
All tours are based on a minimum number of participants. If minimum numbers are not reached, alternative arrangements or a complete refund may need to be made.

Airfares
Domestic airfares to pre and post tour destinations are not included in the ground cost of the tour. Please advise the Tour Managers of your flight details so that they can arrange your airport transfers. You may still register on the pre and post tours if you have not finalised your travel arrangements. On completion of the registration form, you will be issued with an access key, which you need to record as this key allows you to access and update your booking and registration details at a later date.

Cancellation Fees
Prior to 10 May 2010, full refund less A$100.00 administration fee applies. After this date no refunds will be applicable.

Late Fees
If bookings are received for post tours after 10 May 2010, a late fee of A$100.00 per booking will be applicable.

Important Tours Registration Information

Credit Card Payment Online:
Online Tours Registration is preferred. Please visit our secure website to register and book your Pre and Post Tours in 'real time'. Please note all online tour registrations require immediate payment by credit card.

Accepted credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to 'Conference by arinex'.

Faxing/Mailing Tour Registrations:
Faxed or posted registration forms will only be processed/confirmed if credit card details or cheque payment are accompanied with the form.

  • You may not pay your fees by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations must be notified in writing to the 93rd International Convention Tour Managers. Where participants cancel their tour bookings prior to 10 May 2010 payment will be refunded in full. Thereafter, no refunds will be made.

Insurance
Tours Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the convention and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the convention, or through cancellation of the convention, loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Australia, failure to utilise tours or pre booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason, medical expenses (including sickness and accident cover), loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The tour managers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.

Acknowledgements
Your registration and payment of Tours for the 93rd International Convention will be acknowledged via email or post with confirmation of your requirements according to your tour registration form. Your tour registration will not be processed or confirmed if payment does not accompany your form.

You will not receive any further publications before the 93rd International Convention. Prior to participating in the tours, please visit the 93rd International Convention Tours Desk at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre to collect your tour tickets.
